Effective Monday, September 11th (northbound) and Tuesday, September 12th (southbound), Amtrak restored full Adirondack service to & from Montreal, QC.

The service restoration comes as cooler fall weather temperatures should not trigger the darconian speed restrictions imposed by the Canadian National Railway north of the border, which caused the train to be suspended north of Albany in late June.

It is unclear what measures are being contemplated to prevent a similiar service suspension next summer.
